"Mom," he says. "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I tell him that for one, I'm already grown up and 2) I'm doing it — I'm his mom, I'm John's mom.
And then I follow it with a long-winded tale about life before kids, when Mommy actually Worked. In an office! Because that's the pinnacle, you know, that's what Daddy does.
"Yeah, but what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Honestly, I just want to know what the heck a Fujita Scale is.

Huh. I think this officially makes your kid smarter than me.
I love how he dealt with running out of room on the Fujita Scale paper.
Yikes - way smarter than me also :)!!
That is a really good illustration of the Fujita Scale! I studied tornadoes and the Fujita scale in high school! It's awesome that he has such a good concept of it already.
Oh. my. I'm in shock. Get back with me later.
love the drawings!
Hi, I read in previous posts that John like to play with an itouch. My son Sam is getting one for his birthday and I have no idea what he might like to do with it besides listen to music. Do you have any suggestions? My Sam is nonverbal and has limited receptive language as well
